NEW YEAR, NEW ADVENTURES!

Fifth grade students are beginning the year with an artistic poem.  Each student will generate six adjectives describing him or her and will paint six different sections with custom colors.  They will then write in an adjective for each section forming the words to the shape of the section on the paper.  The students will begin their poems with "I am" and will write positive personality traits.

Art show and happenings in the art room!

2015  Culpeper County Public Schools Youth Art Show

Geometric forms with second grade.  The students had a lot of fun with this project.  They were given one piece of paper, rulers, pencils, scissors and tape.  Students could work individually or in small groups to create geometric forms with one piece of paper.

Some of the fifth graders came during their free time to paint "Spring" themed paintings that will be used to raise money for a local charity.
